  • SCIENTIFICALLY DEVELOPED

Scientifically developed and tested using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), stability calculations used by NASA, a custom-made wind tunnel, and a LabRadar (Doppler radar).

  • MATERIAL

Rev 2.0 is ridiculously tough. The material can be stretched and returned to shape. Pass-throughs on targets are no problem. The material also has much better adhesion and can be used with all known vane adhesives after wiping the base of the vane with 70% alcohol wipe or primer pen.

  • INDIVIDUALLY MOLDED

The Mini Sabres are all very consistent. Shown by the weight consistency of 6.0 +/-0.1 gr. All exactly identical. The 8-cavity mold means there will not be any shortages moving forward.

Application Method

  1. Clean the arrow shaft or wrap with a clean, dry paper towel.
  2. Place Super Sabre in the fletching jig clamp set at 2.5 degree helical.
  3. Clean the base thoroughly using 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe or primer pen. Rewet alcohol wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol if it dries.
  4. Wipe base of vane with a DRY paper towel 3-4 times until you feel the friction increase. This means all the alcohol is gone.
  5. Apply adhesive to the bottom of the vane. Just a very thin continuous bead of Maxi-Cure is highly recommended.
  6. Using the clamp, press the vane down holding it securely for 10 sec. (or recommended time on adhesive)
  7. Unclamp the vane and wipe excess glue from around the base of the vane.
  8. Let the adhesive cure for 15-20 min.

vanes

they adhere a lot better with a primer pen
alcohol wipes didn’t work every time

Mini Sabre

Fletched up the minis on my VAP elites, used the vane angle tool of theirs as well . The whole vane made great contact, was easy to use, the semi translucent color made it super easy to see if you had bad contact with the shaft itself. Once it was on it’s not coming off, the arrows fly true and quiet. I shaved 8 grains off my arrow even running a four fletch vs my other vane set up. Looking forward to testing them out with my valkyrie broad head set up. I think I may have just found my new favorite vane .

Arrow build: VAP elites 300 spine, valkyrie aluminum collar w/ 200gr field point. Easton Deep six knock, mini sabre four fletch. Total weight 507gr

BEST VANES FOR DISTANCE!

I’m very happy to report back after months of using DCA custom vanes mini.

Shot 125 yard - 12 inch group.

Yes these are quite, stabilize well and I have no issues with them coming off.

Set up your bitz correctly and make sure your vane is seated properly and you will never have issues with these vanes.

Super happy with them!

Best vanes on the market

I do a lot of testing with different arrows, vanes and configurations just for personal use. I’m no aerospace engineer by any stretch but my testing is always based on what will stabilize an ugly fixed blade broadhead first, drag at long distance second and noise as third priority. I’ve found the super sabres and mini sabres outperform in both of the first 2 categories in multiple tests WITH MY SETUP in both stabilizing (point of impact as compared to a field point out of the same exact arrow) and drag at longer distances (how much the arrow drops it’s point of impact at 100 yards as compared to other vanes). The only reason that I haven’t judged on the noise level is because I have not compiled any actual data from down range as the arrows go by. I can tell the difference in arrow noise with my eyes closed but could not give any factual statistics. Thank you Kyle for a great American made product!!
