The Sabre Primer Pen is the "easy button" of vane adhesion. A primer pen along with the Maxi-Cure is the most effective bond possible. Just wipe the pen down the base of the vane, give it a couple of seconds, and then run a thin continuous line of Bob Smith Maxi-Cure down the middle. Wipe the excess off, give it 10 min to cure, and SHOOT!

Great adhesion promoter / Primer but the pen will leak be carefull.
Primer pen works great. I've shot through targets and through a wood panel. Zero issues....
I have been in the frustrated state for a while with my DCA fletchings. I love them and have heard people complain they do not stick, and until last year I never had an issue. Then the issues started I would go through 6-9 fletchings an arrow before they bonded (good enough). After using the pen, BOOM! They stick. Very happy.
