The Sabre Primer Pen is the "easy button" of vane adhesion. A primer pen along with the Maxi-Cure is the most effective bond possible. Just wipe the pen down the base of the vane, give it a couple of seconds, and then run a thin continuous line of Bob Smith Maxi-Cure down the middle. Wipe the excess off, give it 10 min to cure, and SHOOT!

My first time using DCA vanes and primer pen. I used them on Easton FMJ arrows. I followed directions to a T, using my Bitz jig. The first arrow that passed through my target lost one vane. That’s pretty disappointing. I’m hesitant to check all the others that I’ve already fletched.
