Do you need to use a primer pen for the Sabre Series of vanes? No, you can use the alcohol + dry paper towel method. The Sabre Primer Pen is the "easy button". Just wipe the pen down the base of the vane, give it a couple of seconds, and then run a thin continuous line of Bob Smith Maxi-Cure down the middle. Wipe the excess off, give it 10 min to cure, and SHOOT!

These vanes are so sick! I definitely noticed my groups getting tighter and without a doubt have the quietest arrows amongst all the guys I shoot with. Not only do they look cool, but they worked extremely well.
Primer pen! F'N LOVE IT! It works for both the vanes I use ( Tac and of course DCA) Also I recommend making purple mini sabers

The total package worked great the tool Gauge and the quality of the Super Saber vane along with the primer pen and maxi cure glue made a great arrow build that is holding up shot after shot.
